Infrastructure & Security Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance infrastructure and security measures, the full-time Infrastructure & Security Engineer will design, administer, and secure corporate technology environments while ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements, all in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and manage secure, scalable infrastructure, including cloud services, servers, and networks
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, supporting Risk Management Framework activities and incident response
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate operational and technical requirements into effective infrastructure and security solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, or a related discipline
- Seven or more years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or cybersecurity
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and enterprise infrastructure security
- Experience with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, or comparable federal cybersecurity requirements
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification and U.S. citizenship
