Infrastructure Security Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Infrastructure Security Engineering team, the full-time Infrastructure Security Engineer will provide secure design and engineering guidance for security tools and services, improve security tooling, and participate in on-call support while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide secure design and engineering guidance for security tools, including Endpoint, WAF, DNS, and firewalls
• Improve and innovate tooling to manage security rule sets, aligning with organizational risk reduction goals
• Develop automation strategies to streamline security policy administration and mentor junior staff during on-call support

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting Network Firewalls, Endpoint security, and DNS security
• Solid understanding of network security principles and their application
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with web application firewall solutions like Cloudflare or Akamai
• Experience with data collection tools for analyzing problems and developing solutions
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
