Infrastructure Software Engineer

Job Summary

To design and build a unified infrastructure knowledge graph, the full-time Infrastructure Software Engineer will create systems for managing topology and observability data, working remotely or onsite in Mountain View, CA.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain an infrastructure topology data model across various layers and relationships
• Build data collectors and parsers to gather information from multiple sources, ensuring minimal impact on production systems
• Develop web frontend and backend services for interactive navigation and visualization of topology and service dependencies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, SRE, or network automation in both cloud and on-premises environments
• Working knowledge of L2/L3 networking and routing protocols
• Experience building Python data pipelines and modeling data in analytical stores
• Familiarity with visualizing graph/topology data on the web
• Understanding of observability stacks and their data models
