Infusion Referral Coordination Specialist

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare practice, the remote Infusion Referral Coordination Specialist will manage incoming infusion orders, coordinate referrals, and ensure accurate medication order entry while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming faxes and new infusion orders, ensuring accurate workflow and prompt processing
• Create and maintain patient profiles, including demographic, insurance, and referral information
• Conduct benefits verification and support prior authorizations for new and existing infusion patients

Required qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, or related field
• Prior hands-on experience in Pharmacy Technician or infusion pharmacy roles
• Direct experience with infusion referral coordination and order entry
• Experience with prior authorization processes and commercial payer policies
• Five or more years of relevant infusion experience strongly preferred
