Inpatient Auditing Consultant

Job Summary

Performing inpatient coding audits for facility reporting, the full-time Sr Auditing Consultant - Inpatient will analyze audit results, provide educational services to clients, and maintain knowledge of reimbursement systems while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct inpatient coding audits and analyze results to identify patterns and improvement opportunities
• Provide educational services to clients, coders, and providers based on audit findings
• Maintain current knowledge of PCS and ICD-10 coding principles and relevant regulations

Required qualifications:

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS/P, or CPC certification
• 3+ years of experience in inpatient auditing
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and/or CPT-4 codes
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office applications
