Inpatient Medicine Analyst

Job Summary

To support daily operations, the full-time remote ERP Inpatient Medicine Analyst will assist Inpatient Medicine Medical Directors and Hospital Medicine/Critical Care Providers by overseeing charge capture billings, tracking site productivity, and acting as a liaison between physicians and hospital administration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service and support related to revenue cycle management (RCM)
• Assist with billing issues by assigning missing bills to providers and following up on outstanding items
• Perform monthly audits of reconciled bills and maintain accurate tracking of daily encounter totals and hospital census

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior hospitalist experience and familiarity with Ingenious Med software preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level
• Strong skills in processing electronic documents and database applications
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work efficiently in a multi-task environment
