Inside Property Adjuster
Job Summary
Working fully remotely, the Inside Property Adjuster will investigate and confirm facts of loss for homeowners claims, determine coverage and damages, and negotiate claims while exercising discretion and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate homeowner first party claims, including coverage and damages, while exercising discretion within authority limits
- Collaborate with fraud and subrogation representatives to achieve optimal outcomes for claims
- Demonstrate an understanding of insurance policies and identify key components of residential construction and repair
Required qualifications
- Prior experience handling residential homeowner claims is highly preferred
- Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis
- Basic understanding of insurance policies and organizational relationships within the company
- Ability to recognize subrogation or fraud potential
- Familiarity with systems and technology used within the company
