Institutional Review Board Manager

Job Summary

Ensuring compliance with regulations governing human subjects' research, the full-time Institutional Review Board Program Manager will conduct comprehensive reviews of IRB submissions, provide expert guidance to principal investigators, and facilitate ethical research practices both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough reviews of IRB submissions to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
• Act as the primary liaison between the IRB office and assigned institutes, addressing inquiries from study teams
• Support the preparation of meeting materials and documentation for convened board meetings

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biology, public health, or clinical research preferred
• Minimum of two years of experience in research administration, clinical research, or regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with IRB processes or human subjects research is preferred but not required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks independently
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in research administration
