Job Summary
To support workforce development initiatives, the full-time remote Instructional Design Specialist will create engaging learning resources and multimedia products, collaborate with partners, and apply innovative instructional design principles to enhance career-focused education and training.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop multimedia learning assets and performance support tools for workforce preparation and skill development
- Research and evaluate emerging learning tools and practices to continuously improve instructional materials
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine learning experiences and assess the effectiveness of learning products
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning technologies, education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in developing digital learning resources and multimedia assets for adult learners
- Proficiency with design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and accessibility standards
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts
