Job Summary
Collaborating with faculty subject matter experts, the full-time remote Instructional Designer will manage course development projects, translating learning outcomes into engaging online courses while applying evidence-based instructional strategies and educational technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with faculty to design, develop, and enhance online learning experiences
- Utilize outcomes-based design and learning theory to inform instructional strategies and materials
- Integrate educational technologies and support faculty in using the Canvas learning management system
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field
- Three or more years of experience in instructional design focused on online or technology-enhanced learning
- Experience working in higher education settings
- Proficiency in using a learning management system, preferably Canvas
- Commitment to accessible and inclusive learner-centered design
