Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the growth of noncredit offerings, the part-time Instructional Designer will design and develop engaging learning experiences for adult and professional audiences, collaborating with faculty and industry partners while working remotely with occasional on-campus presence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop accessible learning experiences, applying adult learning theory and evidence-based practices
• Translate academic and professional content into practical, skills-based learning experiences aligned with workforce needs
• Collaborate with faculty, subject matter experts, and industry partners to co-design effective learning programs

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years of experience in designing and implementing online or hybrid learning experiences
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory
• Experience with learning management systems and educational technologies
• Proven ability to manage multiple instructional design projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
