Instructional Designer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative learning solutions, the fully remote Instructional Designer will assess learning needs and design, develop, and deliver training materials across various content domains while collaborating with subject matter experts and managing projects from discovery through evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess learner needs and recommend appropriate instructional solutions in collaboration with the Instructional Design Director and program partners
• Develop learning objectives, instructional approaches, and assessments aligned with established content standards and learner needs
• Create and test eLearning modules and instructor-led training materials, ensuring adherence to quality and accessibility standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field
• Four or more years of experience in instructional design or related fields, particularly in healthcare or regulatory training
• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Captivate
• Experience with learning management systems (LMS) administration and course configuration
• Strong working knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards for digital content
