Instructional Designer, 6-12 ELA

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative digital learning solutions, the remote Instructional Designer, 6-12 ELA will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, storyboard, and build engaging curriculum content while utilizing Agile methodologies and ensuring accessibility standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to product workstreams by designing and building digital courses and lessons based on subject matter expert content
• Lead workflows, ensuring project schedules and product goals are met while collaborating with team members to troubleshoot technical issues
• Stay current with industry trends to drive innovation in instructional design practices and enhance curriculum solutions

Required qualifications

• 2 - 4 years of experience in digital content development, specifically in teaching and learning materials
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Proficiency with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems
• Previous teaching experience in grades 6-12 is a plus
