Job Summary
To support the development of Dual Literacy programs, the remote Instructional Designer, Dual Literacy (ELA/SLA) will manage the creation of instructional materials in both print and digital formats, collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality content delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to concept meetings, review manuscripts, and create storyboards while ensuring adherence to product requirements
- Oversee the product build process, including quality control on digital assets in both English and Spanish
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical issues and provide informal training to associate instructional designers
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
- Experience with Spanish-language materials and prior teaching experience in dual-language or ESL settings
- 1-3 years of experience in digital content development for educational materials
- Familiarity with authoring tools, learning management systems, and content management systems
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and their application in instructional design
