Job Summary
Joining a dynamic team on a contract basis, the Instructional Designer (InDesign) will develop engaging instructor-led training curricula for skilled trades education, utilizing InDesign to create high-quality learning materials while working remotely for approximately 30-40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop effective instructor-led learning experiences, including lessons, workshops, and assessments
- Apply the ADDIE model and adult learning principles to create learner-centered training
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to produce cohesive and engaging instructional materials
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in instructional design
- Expertise in Adobe InDesign
- Experience designing courses in skilled trades or related fields is a plus
- Familiarity with the ADDIE model and adult learning theory
- Availability to work during standard business hours for collaboration and meetings
