Instrumentation and Controls Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead I&C engineering for combined cycle power projects, overseeing all aspects from development to completion
- Review and approve engineering deliverables from EORs and OEMs, ensuring compliance with contract and industry standards
- Develop technical specifications and manage equipment proposals and design deliverables from various OEMs
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Controls Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 15 years of related experience, or 25 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 10 years of lead project design engineering experience in power and/or utility stations
- Experience in Control System Architecture, Power Plant Process Instrumentation Design, and related equipment specifications
- Familiarity with utility control systems for Combined Cycle Power plants and electrical power distribution integration
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards including NEC/NEMA/ISO/IEC/BS/OSHA
