Insurance Accounts Receivable Lead

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operations, the full-time Insurance Accounts Receivable Lead will guide team members, manage complex claims, and ensure efficient workflows while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support and guide a team to meet departmental goals by monitoring productivity, quality, and turnaround times
• Report key metrics and updates from payors to management and document recurring issues or payer trends
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with the implementation of new tools or process changes

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, focusing on prior A/R follow-up
• 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Payer Requirements, Denials, and Payor Trends
