Insurance Accounts Receivable Lead

Job Summary

Overseeing daily operations in a fully remote capacity, the full-time Insurance Accounts Receivable Lead will guide team members, ensure efficient workflows, and manage complex claims while serving as a liaison between team members and functional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support and guide a team to meet departmental goals by monitoring productivity and providing ongoing training and performance feedback
• Report key metrics and updates from payors to management, identifying opportunities for process improvements
• Act as the first line of support for team questions and issue resolution while managing personal A/R follow-up workload

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, focusing on prior A/R follow-up
• 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
