Job Summary

Working fully remote in a full-time capacity, the Insurance Accounts Receivable Specialist will perform entry-level insurance billing tasks, including submitting claims, reviewing denials, and following up on outstanding balances under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Perform billing-related tasks such as data entry, claim review, and accounts receivable follow-up
• Resolve entry-level insurance denials and escalate complex issues as needed
• Communicate effectively with providers and patients to ensure accurate claims processing

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare setting preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical facility layout and department functions (training provided)
• Dependability and punctuality are essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
