Job Summary

Managing auto claims services remotely, the full-time salaried Damage in Transit APD Appraiser will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and adjust vehicle damages while collaborating with auto body shops and stakeholders to facilitate the repair process.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver claims services through various communication channels to policyholders and third-party customers
• Adjust low to moderately complex auto damage claims virtually and document all decisions clearly
• Conduct damage verification and evaluate total loss claims while partnering with vendors and internal teams for resolution

Required qualifications

• 0-2 years of auto claims experience writing estimates and total loss evaluations required
• Moderate knowledge of automobile parts, terminology, repair techniques, and vehicle construction
• Proficient with CCC estimating system
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
• Insurance Adjuster License preferred
