Insurance Billing Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising day-to-day operations in a fully remote environment, the full-time Insurance Billing Supervisor will manage insurance matters, oversee posting and collections, and counsel patients on financial assistance options.

Key responsibilities:

• Communicates billing policies and educates staff to enhance the billing process
• Advises department managers on collection issues and monitors monthly collection totals
• Participates in employee selection, training, and evaluation while providing coverage during staff absences

Required qualifications:

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five years of relevant work experience in insurance billing or collections
• No specific certifications or professional licenses required
