Insurance Case Manager

Job Summary

Managing the case management of life, LTC, and DI applications, the full-time Insurance Case Manager will facilitate communications between agents, partners, and carriers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review life applications for completeness and manage the ordering of necessary medical records and requirements
• Maintain correspondence with carriers and vendors, advocating for agents and negotiating offers on behalf of clients
• Utilize data management systems to document case activity and ensure accurate reporting throughout the underwriting process

Required qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in Brokerage New Business, General Agency, or Life Insurance companies
• Familiarity with medical and financial underwriting terminology is a plus
• Experience with web-based agency management systems and document management systems
• Industry designations such as NAILBA Case Management certification, FLMI, ALU, CLU, ChFC, or CFP are advantageous
