Insurance Case Manager

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Case Manager will manage life, long-term care, and disability insurance applications, facilitating communication among agents, vendors, and carriers while ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and process life insurance applications for completeness and accuracy, coordinating with agents and underwriters as needed
• Maintain communication with carriers and vendors, advocating for clients and negotiating offers to secure the best underwriting class
• Utilize data management systems to document case activity and ensure accurate reporting throughout the application process

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in Brokerage New Business, General Agency, or Life Insurance company
• Familiarity with medical and financial underwriting terminology is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in web-based agency management systems
• Industry designations such as NAILBA Case Management certification, FLMI, or CLU are advantageous
