Insurance Claims Specialist

Job Summary

To support the resolution of insurance claims, the full-time Insurance Claims Specialist will identify and address claims denials and processing errors while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve unpaid or denied claims using proprietary software, making calls, and accessing client and insurance carrier systems
• Review medical documentation, including UB04 claim forms and EOBs, to determine appropriate actions for claim resolution
• Maintain awareness of client preferences and known issues while meeting production and quality expectations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in physician and/or hospital accounts receivable preferred
• Knowledge of UB04 claim forms, EOBs, and medical records preferred
• Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EMR systems preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
