Job Summary

To support the business office operations, the full-time Insurance Collection Specialist will manage insurance claims, follow up on outstanding balances, and ensure timely collections in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and process insurance claims for timely reimbursement
• Follow up on outstanding balances and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of collections and communications with insurance providers

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or finance preferred
• Experience in insurance collections or medical billing
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures
• Proficiency in relevant software and databases
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
