Insurance Collector

Job Summary

To support the Patient Financial Services Department, the full-time Insurance Collector will manage claim resolution, follow up on accounts, and ensure timely communication while working remotely, preferably from Arizona.

Key responsibilities

• Completes timely follow-up on accounts and resolves denials while preparing related correspondence
• Implements process improvements to enhance claim resolution and achieve departmental goals
• Maintains effective communication across business and clinical divisions to support account reconciliation

Required qualifications

• Six months or more of progressive work experience in a relevant field
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Knowledge of coding rules and ability to interpret EOBs
• Ability to use computer hardware and software applications effectively
• Completion of Core and Specialty Training as required
