Job Summary
To support a dedicated team in delivering quality patient care, the full-time remote Insurance Eligibility Specialist will manage insurance eligibility verification, ensure accurate data entry, and communicate effectively with patients and providers.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and data entry into the RIS system for each patient
- Utilize various systems to obtain and analyze patients' insurance eligibility information
- Communicate with patients regarding their insurance status and alternative payment methods
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 to 6 months of related experience and/or training
- Excellent customer service and public relations skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and clerical skills
- Ability to interact effectively with patients, doctors, and team members
