Insurance Follow-up Representative

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Insurance Follow-up Representative will manage the follow-up on insurance claims and appeals, ensuring accurate reimbursement for healthcare providers.

Key responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies for status updates on claims and appeals, navigating the claims processing system
• Check client systems and payer portals for claim status when feasible
• Assist with special client projects as needed

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong healthcare industry knowledge
• 1-3 years of insurance follow-up experience preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot and remedy claim submission errors
• Previous work-from-home experience preferred
