Insurance Follow Up Representative

Job Summary

Responsible for the accounts receivables reconciliation process, the full-time Insurance Follow Up Representative will examine and update patient health information, resolve inquiries from patients and insurance carriers, and verify eligibility and benefits using online systems, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, correct, and update patient health information to ensure accurate insurance payment and follow-up
• Resolve patient and insurance carrier inquiries in a timely manner to minimize accounts receivable days
• Utilize online systems to verify eligibility, benefits, and claim statuses while maintaining documentation on accounts worked

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 6 months of relevant revenue cycle experience Required
• Experience with health care insurance collections Preferred
