Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Insurance Follow Up Representative will manage the accounts receivables reconciliation process for patient accounts, ensuring accurate insurance payments and resolving inquiries from patients and insurance carriers.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, correct, and update patient health information to facilitate accurate insurance payment follow-up
• Resolve inquiries from patients and insurance carriers promptly to minimize accounts receivable days
• Utilize online systems to verify eligibility, benefits, and claim status while maintaining documentation on accounts worked

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• 6 months of relevant revenue cycle experience required
• Experience with health care insurance collections preferred
