Insurance Follow-Up Representative

Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral health practice, the remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative will manage outstanding claims, ensuring timely reimbursement and reviewing patient eligibility for various coverage options.

Key responsibilities

• Consistently complete accurate and timely claims submission and resubmission to appropriate parties
• Utilize assertive follow-up techniques with payers, providing information, corrections, and problem resolution
• Handle phone calls from internal and external customers, answering questions, taking payments, and resolving issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; associate degree preferred
• Two years of clerical experience in a health care setting required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
