Insurance Follow-Up Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure prompt reimbursement, the remote Insurance Follow-Up Representative will manage outstanding claims, review patient eligibility for coverage, and utilize assertive follow-up techniques with payers.

Key responsibilities:

• Consistently complete accurate and timely claims submission and resubmission
• Utilize assertive follow-up techniques with payers to resolve issues and provide necessary information
• Handle phone calls from internal and external customers, addressing questions and processing payments

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
• Two years of clerical experience in a health care setting required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
