Insurance Program Development Manager
Job Summary
To support the expansion into new insurance lines, the full-time remote Insurance Program Development Manager will build a pipeline of market opportunities, connect with underwriting leaders, and collaborate with senior leadership to shape portfolio strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Expand network across reinsurance brokers, fronting carriers, MGAs, and underwriting leaders to represent the company in the market
- Source program opportunities through broker and carrier relationships, industry events, and market research
- Build and manage a continuous pipeline of opportunities, from initial introduction to program launch
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in insurance, particularly in reinsurance brokerage, MGA program development, or related roles
- An established network across reinsurance brokers, fronting carriers, and MGAs
- A proven track record of originating and launching insurance programs
- Experience as a hands-on operator comfortable with ambiguity and disciplined follow-through
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with senior industry professionals and leadership
