Insurance Supervisor

Job Summary

To support the Insurance Operations department, the fully remote Insurance Supervisor will manage billing and collections processes, develop team members, and maintain client relationships while ensuring compliance and productivity standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of billing and insurance follow-up teams
• Manage client communications and lead internal and external meetings regarding project deliverables
• Resolve complex billing or denial issues and monitor inappropriate denials, underpayments, and overpayments

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations
• 3 years of direct management or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of patient accounting systems and billing forms (UB04, HCFA 1500)
• Demonstrated experience in appeals, denial management, and payer regulations
