Insurance Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Serving as the primary technical owner of the Vertafore MGA Systems/IMS platform, the full-time Insurance Systems Engineer will administer and configure the system, build and support integrations, and manage relationships with vendors, all while working remotely or from Macon, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Vertafore MGA Systems/IMS platform, ensuring smooth operations and system reliability
- Develop and troubleshoot integrations between MGA Systems and third-party applications, utilizing APIs and scripting for automation
- Write SQL queries to analyze data, create reports, and support business decision-making processes
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Vertafore MGA Systems/IMS administration and configuration
- Experience in an MGA, wholesale brokerage, or specialty insurance environment
- Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and reporting
- Proven ability to troubleshoot application and integration issues
- Experience with REST APIs and web services for system integration
