Insurance Verification Manager

Job Summary

Managing day-to-day operations, the full-time Manager of Insurance Verification & Authorizations will oversee staff verifying insurance benefits, providing cost estimates, and resolving financial needs for patients while ensuring excellent customer service in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the verification and authorization processes for scheduled patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• Develop and implement strategies, budgets, policies, and procedures to support operational objectives
• Handle complex issues and ensure team milestones and goals are met while delivering exceptional service

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Five years of experience in an acute care hospital or health system admitting department/access or call center
• Experience as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Three years of supervisory or lead experience
