Insurance Verification Representative

Job Summary

Supporting timely patient care, the full-time Insurance Verification Representative I will confirm insurance coverage, obtain authorizations for services, and manage work queues while working remotely within a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify insurance information and patient demographics, and enter data into required systems
• Manage assigned work queues independently and collaboratively to meet productivity expectations
• Serve as a liaison among various departments to resolve issues and confirm insurance eligibility and authorizations

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0+ years of related work experience; no directly related experience is required
• Ability to learn payer-specific processes and system workflows quickly
• Comfort navigating technology and multiple work queues
• Experience using insurance company portals is preferred
