Insurance Verification Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional service to patients, the full-time Insurance Verification Representative will ensure accurate and timely verification of insurance coverage and benefits while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits through appropriate payer portals
• Process new and established patient accounts, including scheduling appointments and communicating with patients regarding their coverage
• Maintain accurate documentation of insurance verifications and patient communications while complying with privacy requirements

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; AA or equivalent experience preferred
• At least 1 year of customer service experience
• At least 1 year of medical insurance verification experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams
• General knowledge of medical office procedures and insurance processes
