Intake Representative

Job Summary

To support efficient healthcare operations, the full-time Intake Representative will enter data from physician requests into a medical management authorization system while working remotely from New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

• Validate patient and medical provider information and determine eligibility for healthcare benefits
• Contact medical provider offices and patients to confirm urgent requests, ensuring timely referral and authorization processes
• Generate and review correspondence for accuracy, maintaining production reports and tracking performance metrics

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
• Six months of experience in a production/data entry environment within a healthcare-related organization
• Experience with alpha and numeric data entry
• Medically based trade school diploma/certification is desired
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship
