Integration API Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal customer, the remote Integration API Data Engineer will design and implement APIs, interfaces, and integration services that facilitate secure data movement across various systems and processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration components using approved technologies
- Analyze system requirements, data models, and dependencies to implement secure data exchange and integration patterns
- Collaborate with security and data engineers to apply security controls and define data quality requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience
- Demonstrated experience developing APIs, system interfaces, and data integrations in enterprise environments
- Experience with structured data formats, API security, and automated testing
- Ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system integration and data-flow issues
- U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; active Secret clearance preferred
