Job Summary
To support a federal customer, the remote Integration/API/Data Engineer will design and implement APIs, interfaces, and integration services that facilitate secure data movement across various systems and processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain RESTful APIs and integration components using approved technologies
- Analyze source and target systems, data models, and interface requirements to ensure effective integration
- Collaborate with security and data engineers to apply security controls and define data requirements
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5-10 years of experience
- Senior industry certification such as CISSP or equivalent
- Experience in developing APIs and data integrations in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with API security, automated testing, and CI/CD processes
- Ability to obtain a 6c Public Trust; active Secret clearance preferred
