Intellectual Property Paralegal

Job Summary

To support the Trademark, Marketing, and Copyright team, the contract Intellectual Property Paralegal will manage legal operations, including intake and production clearance, while working remotely within the United States for 20 to 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Business & Legal Affairs Slack intake and production clearance, ensuring compliance with various constraints
• Handle music licensing agreements and maintain the Music License Tracker while overseeing AI governance and compliance
• Conduct content substantiation for Marketing Legal and manage trademark takedowns and online infringement issues

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in copyright, trademark, or marketing legal environments
• Strong understanding of music licensing and AI governance compliance
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Experience with managing third-party supplier/licensing agreements
• Familiarity with content review processes and legal workflow administration
