Job Summary
Supporting a federal government client, the remote Interagency Agreement Specialist will manage the interagency agreement process for NOAA, including creating tracking tools, collaborating with Financial Management Centers, and ensuring compliance with agreement policies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of NOS Financial Management Centers in planning and implementing interagency agreements
- Create and maintain spreadsheets and trackers to monitor the status of planned agreements
- Coordinate with NOAA HQ and legal counsel to troubleshoot funding issues and expedite clearance processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; a Master's Degree may substitute for 2 years of experience, and a PhD for 4 years
- Experience with government interagency agreements and terminology is preferred
- Ability to transform data into user-friendly spreadsheets and presentations
- Excellent oral presentation skills for briefing senior management
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage customer expectations effectively
