Leading a small interface development team, the full-time remote Interface Development Manager will manage HL7 messaging, FHIR integrations, and clinical data exchange while overseeing technical direction and team performance.
Key responsibilities
- Directly manage the interface development team, including hiring, performance reviews, and technical guidance
- Own the design, build, and support of HL7 v2.x and FHIR-based integrations across multiple healthcare systems
- Champion AI-assisted development practices to enhance interface mapping, validation, and testing processes
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of .NET/C# development experience
- 2+ years in a team lead or people-management role with direct reports
- Hands-on experience with HL7 v2.x messaging and clinical data exchange
- Direct experience with FHIR and SMART on FHIR integrations
- Experience delivering software in a healthcare or regulated industry
