Interface Engineer
Job Summary
Designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions for healthcare systems, the full-time remote Interface Engineer will ensure seamless data exchange and secure communication between clinical laboratories and information systems, while managing multiple interface projects and collaborating with stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and implement interfaces to facilitate data exchange between hospital systems and laboratory information management systems
- Collaborate with clinical laboratory staff and IT teams to define technical specifications and resolve interface-related issues
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to validate interfaces, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and data integrity
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Corepoint Interface Engine and healthcare/clinical laboratory domain
- Strong knowledge of HL7 messaging and experience with standards such as JSON and XML
- Experience with networking protocols and secure transport methods for API development and integration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or equivalent experience
- Ten years' experience in healthcare IT interface development with a focus on interface engine technology
