Job Summary
Leading a small team of interfaces developers, the remote Interfaces and Database Manager will manage the day-to-day delivery of integration infrastructure, focusing on technical direction, team performance, and hands-on coding while operating in a player-coach capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Directly manage the interfaces/database development team, including performance feedback and workload prioritization
- Own the technical roadmap for backend application components and oversee new import/export and integration solutions
- Drive team adoption of AI-assisted development tools and mentor developers on troubleshooting and solution design
Required qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience managing a team in a player-coach capacity
- Advanced technical skills with 8+ years of experience in ETL design and enterprise-level troubleshooting
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, SSIS packages, APIs, and PowerShell/Batch scripting
- Experience setting coding standards and leading code reviews
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and driving their adoption
