Intermediate Data Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Intermediate Data Engineer will build, maintain, and support data solutions, enabling teams to utilize data for informed business decisions while solving complex problems through data-focused software engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and integrating data from various sources
- Research industry trends and implement new techniques to enhance the enterprise-wide data strategy
- Provide technical recommendations and support for data products to ensure effective data utilization across the organization
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or two years of relevant work experience in software design and programming
- Experience with data replication tools and orchestration/transformation tools such as Prefect and dbt
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with technology stacks related to data engineering
- Understanding of the data lifecycle, including ETL/ELT processes and data product deployment
- Exposure to SQL Server Integration Services
