Job Summary
Seeking an Intermediate Developer for the Device Trust team, this full-time remote position will focus on enhancing the reliability and operational excellence of the Device Trust authentication service by writing and maintaining production code and improving service operations.
Key responsibilities
- Build and enhance services that power Device Trust, ensuring reliability and observability
- Improve production systems through software, automation, and thoughtful engineering practices
- Participate in incident response and post-incident learning to drive lasting improvements
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in software development
- Experience with backend services, APIs, and distributed systems where reliability is crucial
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails
- Ability to use observability tools, with experience in Datadog being valuable
- Demonstrated ownership of scoped problems from investigation through implementation
