Intermediate Product Owner

Job Summary

Driving internal technical product operations, the full-time Intermediate Product Owner will manage the product backlog, facilitate Agile processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to launch features that enhance healthcare data management in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead products through the "Smile Product Realization Process," collaborating with various teams to support product initiatives
• Own the product backlog by writing user stories, prioritizing feature development, and minimizing roadblocks for engineering teams
• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies to ensure effective Agile practices and continuous improvement within the team

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in technical product management or related fields with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent working experience
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including clients, UX specialists, and engineers
• Experience with user testing and validation techniques, demonstrating a user-centric mindset
• Familiarity with healthcare technologies such as APIs, FHIR, and HL7 standards is preferred
