Intermediate Software Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) EAGLE IT Sustainment Support, the fully remote Intermediate Software Systems Engineer will provide specialized expertise in systems software, perform in-depth analysis and technical support, and assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products.
Key responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, including complex problem resolution and operational integration
- Assist in planning and conversion for new hardware/software products, maintaining currency and debugging related software
- Interface with customers to gather information on system requirements and prepare product documentation
Required qualifications
- Eight (8) years of experience in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology
- Active Secret security clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years
- Experience in design, coding, benchmark testing, and debugging of software applications
- Knowledge of operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis and capacity planning
- Ability to work with specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications
